Job Description

The Sales Associate is responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience while driving sales through product knowledge, personalized service, and effective visual merchandising. The role represents the Homes r Us brand on the shop floor, ensuring every customer feels inspired, supported, and confident in their home furnishing choices.

Customer Experience & Sales-

  • Greet and engage customers warmly, understanding their needs and lifestyle preferences

  • Provide expert advice on furniture, home décor, and accessories to support informed purchasing decisions

  • Achieve individual and store sales targets, KPIs, and conversion goals

  • Promote ongoing offers, loyalty programs, and new collections

  • Handle customer queries, objections, and complaints professionally to ensure satisfaction

Product Knowledge & Visual Standards-

  • Maintain strong knowledge of Homes r Us products, materials, features, and care instructions

  • Ensure merchandise is displayed according to brand visual merchandising guidelines

  • Assist in replenishment, stock rotation, and maintaining floor readiness

Operations & Compliance-

  • Accurately process sales transactions, returns, and exchanges using POS systems

  • Support inventory checks, stock handling, and loss prevention procedures

  • Adhere to company policies, UAE retail regulations, and health & safety standards

Team Collaboration

  • Work closely with team members and store management to achieve shared goals

  • Support new staff through on-the-job assistance and positive teamwork

  • Contribute to a high-energy, customer-focused store environment
