Job Description
The HVAC Foreman is responsible for supervising and coordinating all HVAC installation activities on high-rise construction projects. This role ensures work is completed safely, on schedule, and in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. The HVAC Foreman leads site technicians, manages materials, and coordinates with other trades.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise day-to-day HVAC installation activities on high-rise sites
- Interpret HVAC shop drawings, coordination drawings, and project specifications
- Plan and assign tasks to HVAC technicians and subcontractors
- Monitor ducting, chilled water piping, VRF/VRV, and ventilation system installations
- Ensure proper installation of AHUs, FCUs, exhaust systems, and pressurization systems
- Coordinate with civil, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting teams
- Conduct site inspections to ensure quality and compliance
- Maintain site safety standards and toolbox talks
- Monitor material usage and request site materials as required
- Prepare daily progress reports and manpower reports
- Assist in testing & commissioning activities
- Resolve on-site technical issues
