The Role
We’re hiring an HR Manager to lead our people operations and nurture a high-performance culture. You’ll be responsible for the entire employee lifecycle, ensuring our team has the support, environment, and talent it needs to continue scaling. You will act as a strategic partner to leadership while remaining deeply connected to the day-to-day needs of our employees.
What You’ll Work On
- Talent Acquisition: Manage the full recruitment cycle, from sourcing and interviewing to onboarding top-tier talent in tech and content.
- Culture & Engagement: Develop initiatives to enhance employee morale, foster a collaborative hybrid work environment, and uphold Wajeez’s values.
- Performance Management: Implement and oversee performance review cycles, providing guidance on career development and feedback loops.
- Policy & Compliance: Establish and maintain HR policies, ensuring compliance with Jordanian labor laws and best industry practices.
- Compensation & Benefits: Oversee payroll administration and manage competitive benefits packages to attract and retain top talent.
- Conflict Resolution: Act as a trusted advisor for employees and management, resolving internal issues with empathy and professionalism.
- Growth & Development: Identify training needs and organize learning opportunities to help our team level up.
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources, preferably within a fast-paced startup or tech environment.
- Deep knowledge of Jordanian Labor Law and modern HR best practices.
- Strong emotional intelligence and the ability to build trust across all levels of the organization.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English.
- Proven track record in recruitment and building scalable HR processes from the ground up.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to improve retention and hiring outcomes.
