The Logistics Coordinator will oversee and manage all aspects of imports and operations within the Food & Beverage industry. This role ensures the efficient and compliant movement of goods across international borders, coordinating with suppliers, freight forwarders, customs authorities, and internal stakeholders to guarantee timely deliveries while maintaining product quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Coordinate end-to-end import and activities, including shipment booking, documentation, customs clearance,
and delivery.
Liaise with freight forwarders, shipping lines, and transporters to secure optimal rates and reliable services.
Monitor shipment status and proactively resolve delays or disruptions.
Ensure cold chain/temperature-sensitive goods are handled per regulatory and quality requirements.
Prepare, review, and manage shipping documents (Commercial Invoices, Packing Lists, Certificates of Origin,
FIRS, Health Certificates, Phytosanitary Certificates, Bill of Lading, etc.
Ensure compliance with international trade regulations, customs laws, and food safety standards
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records for audits and traceability
Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and sales teams to align shipment schedules with demand and stock
levels.
Track inbound and outbound goods to ensure proper allocation in the warehouse management system
Support supply chain planning by providing shipment lead time updates
Act as the main point of contact for suppliers, distributors, and regulatory authorities
Manage relationships with logistics service providers to ensure performance against KPIs
Identify cost-saving opportunities in freight and custom operations
