SALES DIRECTOR

Our client is a Leading Travel corporation with a strong presence in a variety of locations in the Middle East.

They have an excellent reputation and are world renowned with an exciting and dynamic growth plan for 2011.

We are looking for an experienced Sales Director to be based in Kuwait.


OVERVIEW OF ROLE

The Sales Directors primary responsibility is to manage the sales activities of the Company, analyze and estimate price trends, supervision of the market and competition.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Assists in preparing the annual business plan and budgets.
- Establishes sales goals, action plans and executes the same in a timely manner. Takes agreement on sales and promotional plans.
- Conducts market research to analyze Companys standing in the market and competitors strengths & pricing policies, identifies Companys & competitors' share to different types of customers.
- Develops and implements price schemes for all products and services based on market and competitors analysis, which should increase the sales and profitability of the Company.
- Develops, takes approval and implement sales promotion initiatives to help support the sales strategy and communicates Companys products and services to the customers.
- Ensures compliance with sales policies, procedures and programs.
- Evaluates performance of subordinates and seeks improvement in their capabilities.
- Ensures that accurate date is fed in the system to get precise information from sales pipeline.
- Maintains excellent relationships with customers.
- Reviews and approves contracts with major customers.
- Prepares and reviews daily sales and collections reports.



ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS

- 5-8 years of practical experience
- 3 years in Managerial capacity.
- Bachelor Degree in Sales and Marketing or equivalent

KEY SKILLS

- Presentation & Good articulation.
- Good communication and personnel management skills.
- Good negotiating and presentation skills.
- Ability to communicate in Arabic Language would be an advantage.
- Self-motivated, self-confident, customer focused, goal-oriented and proactive.
- Computer literate and good knowledge of MS Office.
- Reliable, trustworthy, analytical, independent and a self starter.
