1. You will have to act as main technical advisors to subcontractors, operatives and crafts people with respect to the construction site.
2. You will have to level, survey and set out the site.
3. You will check drawings, plans, and other qualities to get an accurate calculation of the whole thing.
4. You have to ensure that all the materials used are according to the specifications.
5. You have to oversee the requisition and selection of the materials.
6. You have to manage, monitor and interpret the design of the contract documents that has been supplied to them.
7. You have to manage the sites on a day to day basis that includes supervising and monitoring the labor force and that of the sub contractors.
8. You have to oversee upon the quality control methods in place.
9. You will resolve unexpected technical problems that may arise.
