ROLE DESCRIPTION


The primary purpose of the BTP Solution Sales Manager is to lead, drive, manage, coach and develop a team of Solution Sales Executives, as well as consistently attain targeted revenue and profitability goals. This is accomplished by utilizing management skills, relevant processes, and training towards the achievement of all sales and quality targets in line with the business objectives. The position also serves as the primary escalation point when necessary for Solution Sales activities


EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS


  • Participates in recruiting, Performance Management, 1 to 1 training, and coaching of the Solution Sales Executives. Drives the general professional development and career development of the agents within the team.
  • Manages the P&T sales pipeline in a proactive manner to ensure attainment of the individual and group contributions to the established goals.
  • Participates in regular business review meetings or forecast calls
  • Provides feedback to Field Management on engagement level with Solution Sales Team
  • Assesses the overall performance of the team with respect to the goals/KPIs and its own revenue target
  • Works with marketing and field sales management to understand and implement initiatives with Solution Sales requirements.
  • Drives and coordinates with field management team to develop pipeline, revenue, and demand management
  • Provides feedback on initiatives executed to enable continuous program improvement.

Position Overview:

The Account Executive is responsible for driving revenue growth for existing and new accounts for all products. As a key member of the team, success in this position is measured by increasing the products used by existing customers, moving existing customers to the Diligent One platform and selling the Diligent One Platform to new customers.

This individual contributor position is responsible for initial prospect/customer meetings, pipeline management and accurate forecasting through to deal completion. The Account Executive will leverage Commercial stakeholders knowledge of and experience with Diligents products, solutions, and strategy to develop deeper product expertise and address customers needs.   • Effectively manage the end-to-end sales cycle from opportunity to deal close using the Diligent approved sales methodology.
  • Effectively utilize sales tools to prospect new leads, schedule initial meetings, increase win rates and generate bookings.
  • Accurately maintain SFDC records, forecast and report out on projected bookings, deals closed etc. on a regular basis.
  • Demonstrates an understanding of the competitor landscape externally, including customers business strategy and the direction of the industry.

  • Facilitate summary status reports, including monthly performance reviews and quarterly service reviews.
  • Act as the mediator between customers and ServiceNow with reference to mandatory upgrades, patches, and security requirements.
  • Manage, document and report on performance against service level agreements (SLAs) and where SLA’s are not being met document and oversee an action plan that will result in meeting and exceeding those commitments routinely.
  • Drive continual improvement for the customer and their environment through trend analysis and partnering with the internal account team to be a champion of change.
  • Review open cases, problems and changes communicating aligned priorities to assigned ServiceNow teams to ensure a timely response and resolution.
  • Act as an escalation point for customer impacting business critical issues.



Qualifications


To be successful in this role, we need someone who has:

The successful candidate will have experience in a high-tech environment, working with companies with large IT organizations utilizing ITIL best practices in complex, global deployments. Your experience should also include a successful track record in support management applying strong project and task-management abilities to meet your customer deliverables. You are a creative problem solver who can lead internal teams in solving a customer issue.

Essential:

  • Excellent written and oral communication skills in English language

  • Fundamental understanding of ITSM in large organizations
  • Comfortable interacting with all levels of management
  • Working knowledge of ITIL incident, problem and release management process and procedures

ROLE DESCRIPTION

The Account Executive’s primary responsibilities include prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing new business to existing and net new customers.
