Endoscopy Nurse - Abu Dhabi

Medacs Healthcare currently have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Endoscopy Nurse to work with a renowned, multi-specialty hospital based in Abu Dhabi which is a part of a large medical group in the UAE.

The facilities at the hospital combine state-of-the-art amenities and world-class service standards. The hospital is a 364-bed facility, with five clinical floors, three diagnostic and treatment levels, and 13 floors of critical and acute inpatient units.

The main focus of the job will be on assisting the surgical team during endoscopic procedures; providing patient care before, during, and after the procedure; and educating patients about treatment. The duties include preparing patients for procedures, assisting the doctor performing the test and delivering patient care during recovery.

The employer offers the following benefits:

    Job Description

    The MEA Legal and Compliance team is a collaborative and high performing function which enjoys and values the support of the business.

    The successful candidate will be a qualified lawyer with strong regulatory experience. The individual will play a pivotal role in engaging with regulatory change and putting in place compliance frameworks for the organisation, guiding governance and regulatory matters as well as wider legal initiatives. Working closely with Heads of Legal and Compliance, the role will provide opportunities for exposure to senior stakeholders and decision-makers within the MEA business, and with counterparts across the globe to align best practices.

    The individual will also have oversight of corporate governance in Middle East and Africa.

    As part of the MEA Legal and Compliance team, the successful candidate will be a trusted business partner, asked to shape and stay involved in opportunities and projects from the outset. As a senior lawyer, you will work closely with your colleagues in Legal and Compliance supporting Cigna’s business with accurate, proportionate and timely legal and regulatory advice to assist the operational, strategic and financial aims of Cigna. The job content will be excitingly broad in line with the scope of Cigna’s MEA business, and will include onshore and offshore regulatory advice. Creativity and flexibility is critical for this role as you will be required to identify solutions beyond standard procedures and often to meet multi-jurisdictional requirements.

    Role Summary

    This role will suit an individual who is flexible, adapts to changing priorities and has the ability to manage and deal with their own workload. Experience particularly in financial services and medical insurance or the administration of medical insurance is an advantage. The role will involve the provision of regulatory/compliance support and assistance to the business under the supervision of the Chief Counsel, Middle East & Africa and the Head of Compliance, Middle East & Africa.

    Key Responsibilities:

  • Work with the Legal and Compliance teams to review, monitor and oversee the implementation of relevant legislation and regulation and legislative and regulatory change across the Middle East.

  • Provide regulatory guidance on regional regulations to the business as needed.

  • Provide training and updates as appropriate to the business, reviewing existing operational processes to ensure compliance.

  • Engage with regulators, decision makers, business groups and other industry networks to enhance understanding, ensure industry connectivity and advocate for Cigna’s interests.

  • Identify, measure, and assess legal and regulatory risk and maintain effective systems, policies and procedures to manage identified risks.

  • Implementation of corporate governance framework, and ongoing monitoring and management of processes.

  • Assist the MEA Legal & Compliance team with tasks and regional projects that may be allocated from time to time.

  • Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 10 years of post-qualification experience practising law, with at least 3 years of experience in an international law firm

  • Proven experience of working with a Medical Insurance/Healthcare Services organisation with an international focus and a good understanding of the relationship companies have with regulatory bodies.

  • Skills:

  • Analytical, problem solving and ability to implement effective solutions using creative drive.

  • Excellent organizational skills.

  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.

3. Direct contact with clients and customers to analyze their requirements.

4. Prepare and send quotations for all out-of-scope maintenance works as per client or customer request.

Pour renforcer son équipe Développement International et accélérer son développement, Energy Pool recrute en contrat à durée indéterminé (CDI) un(e) Senior International Business Developer H/F

Au sein du Département International, le Senior International Business Developer sera chargé de définir la stratégie de coopération d'Energy Pool avec les institutions de développement et de développer les relations et les cadres de coopération pertinents. Il rendra compte au vice-président chargé du développement international et travaillera de manière transversale avec les régions.

A ce titre, vous serez amené(e) à exercer les missions suivantes :

  • Développer la stratégie de la réserve d'énergie pour coopérer avec les institutions internationales de développement dans les pays à faible revenu et à revenu intermédiaire. Les institutions de développement sont les suivantes :
    • AFD and Proparco
    • BEI, EBRD, GIZ
    • ADB, IDB, AfDB
    • World bank and IFC
    • US AID
    • Autres
  • Développer une relation et une méthode de coopération avec les institutions de développement et agir en tant que point de contact unique pour le pool énergétique.
  • Créer et gérer des pistes de développement par l'intermédiaire du canal des institutions internationales de développement, en coopération avec les régions et les secteurs d'activité.
  • Comme tout membre de l'équipe de développement international, les développeurs d'affaires internationales seniors développent un portefeuille de clients de l'origination à la clôture, en coopération avec les régions et les lignes d'affaires :
    • Participer à la qualification des clients ciblés :
  • Participer à la mise au point des supports commerciaux (pitch, présentations, argumentaires…)
  • Prendre contact avec les prospects, leur présenter les services d’Energy Pool
  • Récolter les informations nécessaires pour établir des offres
  • Présenter et négocier les offres
  • Contractualiser

Qualifications


Les indispensables :

  • Vous êtes titulaire d’un diplôme d’une école de commerce avec forte appétence pour les sujets techniques et complexes en milieu industriel ou d’une école d’Ingénieur avec une forte appétence/fibre commerciale.
  • Vous possédez au moins 10 ans d'expérience dans le domaine du financement de projets avec le soutien d'institutions de développement
  • Vous avez 5 ans d'expérience dans des projets d'énergie ou d'infrastructure
  • Vous possédez une expérience confirmée en matière de transactions
  • Vous parlez couramment Français et Anglais
  • Vous connaissez les fondamentaux des marchés de l’énergie


Et idéalement :

  • Vous maîtrisez une 3ème langue


Mobilité :

Des déplacements sont à prévoir (30% au niveau international)

We are looking for a Creative Graphic designer cum Cashier with up-to-date knowledge to interpret our client's needs and to design solutions with high visual impact. You will work on a variety of products, including social media, website, posters, banners, corporate identity, etc. and you will cooperate with our marketing team.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the coordination and production of a variety of graphics products and services.
  • Prepare and estimate costs, coordinate graphic production and reproduction by appointed design houses.
  • Assemble final layouts for printing and provide graphic design.
  • Study design briefs and determine requirements.
  • Schedule projects and define budget constraints.

    The Role: Financial Accountant Specialist

    The Team: The EMEA Enterprise Controller team is responsible for the month end close, management & statutory reporting and internal controls across the region. The team values collaboration across various corporate functions, in delivering to our internal & external stakeholders, and a strong team ethic. The role reports to the Ireland & Middle East Controller.

    Responsibilities and Impact:

    This position supports the EMEA Controllers team locally to ensure internal and external reporting is timely reported and in compliance with IFRS or other local statutory requirements. This position also supports the Ireland & Middle East Controller in partnering locally with business and operations to ensure that governance and internal controls are adhered to, driving operational excellence.

    Responsibilities:
    • Analysis/interrogation of key balance sheet & P&L accounts, with preparation and posting of any associated journals
    • Support with month end processes, including the preparation & posting of journals along with preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
    • Preparation and posting of payroll journals
    • Preparation of financial statements for legal entities in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
    • Liaising and interacting with external auditors pursuant to the timely completion of statutory audits carried out on legal entities
    • Ensuring timely submission of financial/non-financial information to local authorities in Middle East.
    • Assistance with preparation of tax returns and associated accounting workflows, including processing of payment and balance sheet reconciliation of related accounts
    • Assistance with preparation of VAT returns and associated accounting workflows, including processing of payment and balance sheet reconciliation of related accounts
    • Support the Ireland & Middle East Controller with merger, acquisition & disposal projects and legal entity restructuring projects impacting the region
    • To support on process improvement projects, identifying and implementing best practice processes across the region

    What We're Looking For: An individual with a high attention to detail, who is well organized. Someone with strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. You will have a strong desire to exceed expectations and are a real team player with an innate desire to contribute to change. You consider yourself systems savvy and have worked with Oracle, Alteryx, Tableau and understand the FinTech industry (or wish to).
    • 5-7 years experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in Public Accounting, including a thorough understanding of IFRS and accounting standards generally accepted in the United States (US GAAP)
    • Strong problem-solving ability
    • Strong communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate globally at various levels across the company.
    • Ability to multi-task and consistently meet deadlines
    • Proactive approach with the ability to challenge the status quo and to contribute towards delivery of the team strategic objectives

    Preferred Qualifications:
    • Chartered Accountant (CA/ACA/ACCA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA)

    Medacs Healthcare is currently recruiting for Acute Care - Neurosurgery/Stroke Nurses for a very well established hospital in Abu Dhabi, UAE.

    The facilities at this hospital combine state-of-the-art amenities and world-class service standards.

    The hospital is a 364 (expandable to 490) bed facility, with five clinical floors, three diagnostic and treatment levels, and 13 floors of critical and acute inpatient units.
