The Team: The EMEA Enterprise Controller team is responsible for the month end close, management & statutory reporting and internal controls across the region. Responsibilities and Impact:

This position supports the EMEA Controllers team locally to ensure internal and external reporting is timely reported and in compliance with IFRS or other local statutory requirements. This position also supports the Ireland & Middle East Controller in partnering locally with business and operations to ensure that governance and internal controls are adhered to, driving operational excellence.

Responsibilities:
  • Analysis/interrogation of key balance sheet & P&L accounts, with preparation and posting of any associated journals
  • Support with month end processes, including the preparation & posting of journals along with preparation of balance sheet reconciliations
  • Preparation and posting of payroll journals
  • Preparation of financial statements for legal entities in accordance with IFRS and US GAAP.
  • Liaising and interacting with external auditors pursuant to the timely completion of statutory audits carried out on legal entities
  • Ensuring timely submission of financial/non-financial information to local authorities in Middle East.
  • Assistance with preparation of tax returns and associated accounting workflows, including processing of payment and balance sheet reconciliation of related accounts

What We're Looking For: An individual with a high attention to detail, who is well organized. Someone with strong interpersonal, written and oral communication skills. You will have a strong desire to exceed expectations and are a real team player with an innate desire to contribute to change. You consider yourself systems savvy and have worked with Oracle, Alteryx, Tableau and understand the FinTech industry (or wish to).
  • 5-7 years experience in a finance or accounting role, preferably in Public Accounting, including a thorough understanding of IFRS and accounting standards generally accepted in the United States (US GAAP)
  • Strong problem-solving ability
  • Strong communication skills including the ability to effectively collaborate globally at various levels across the company.

Shift Leader

Job duties and responsibilities

  • Ensure that all safety, quality and productivity aspects of the plant are met during your work shift.
  • Continuously monitor the quality of the product produced, both in quality properties and its physical appearance, taking immediate corrective actions if any deviation is found.
  • Check that the packaging quality is visually adequate and according to specifications.
  • Support and promote compliance with the policies established by the company, its team and the organization in general.
  • Ensure that the line is operating according to established product specifications, routinely monitoring the different production areas such as: line, cooling, drying, drilling, inspection system, printing, winder, and packaging. If any deviation is found, take immediate measures to resolve the anomaly.
  • Consistently check that the shift forms and databases are being filled out correctly in the different areas and according to the established plan.
  • At the end of the shift and considering the incidents of the shift, prepare the corresponding production report.
  • Efficiently plan with your team members all shift activities, including order changes, product changes, and planned line stoppages. Minimize downtime as much as possible, being aware of any deviation in equipment operation/maintenance.
  • If a problem occurs during the shift, carry out the initial evaluation and repair it, if it can be repaired with the resources of the shift. If it is a major repair, immediately contact the maintenance manager and/or plant manager by telephone to coordinate activities.
  • Maintain an excellent attitude toward safety and promote this attitude with your team members.
  • Coordinate your team's attendance at work, planning leave and vacations in advance.
  • Report payroll to the human resources area weekly.

Job qualifications/requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience working in a similar position within a Plastic Extrusion Facility in any GCC countries.
  • Preferably candidates with a university degree in any relevant discipline.
  • Work hours/days – 8 hours per day/6 days per week.

This position reports to Head of Commodity Insights Legal - EMEA. You will work in a high-energy, client-facing, multi-cultural, multi-lingual environment and will have the opportunity to apply and develop negotiation and drafting skills, work in a collaborative environment and be part of a team that provides crucial support to the organization across multiple countries and legal systems.

Responsibilities and Impact:

You will be the strategic legal point covering the legal affairs of Commodity Insights business in Middle East and North Africa. You will be responding to internal client inquiries, providing valuable support in the handling of legal matters and in all aspects of the contract process, reviewing contracts, training the commercial organization on legal and contracting procedures, negotiating and drafting contracts for financial information and analytical products and services and assisting with special projects outside of routine client facing contracting as needed.

Responsibilities:
  • Strategic, emotionally intelligent thinker with an ability to instill trust and confidence in cross-functional and cross-divisional team members and stakeholders
  • Primary responsibility for legal negotiation and advice on complex commercial agreements and related matters impacting products and services, with specific emphasis on legal landscape in Middle East and North America.

What We're Looking For:
  • Law degree and [7-12] years of experience in-house or at a law firm working with in-house clients. In-house experience is a plus.
  • In-depth knowledge and experience in GCC and KSA laws and regulations.
  • Ability to work independently while being a team player who brings a positive attitude to the workplace and works collaboratively across functions and departments.
  • Requires a practical, business-oriented approach to problem-solving and effectively counsel internal clients by providing them with clear, concise and pragmatic advice and creative solutions where necessary to meet their business needs.
  • Strong working knowledge of contract, intellectual property law and an understanding of the international laws of the jurisdictions. This includes protection of copyright and other proprietary rights, data privacy, warranties, indemnification, disclaimer of liability and information reuse provisions.
