Preparing Level 1 Delivery Schedule.

Preparation of budget sheets for cost control.

Mechanical Engineer with 10+ years in similar role.

Job Summary

We are hiring an experienced Senior Accountant to manage the full accounting cycle for multiple legal entities within our group. This role is suited for a professional who can work independently, close accounts on time, and deliver management- and shareholder-ready financial reports.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle full-cycle accounting for multiple companies
  • Manage daily accounting operations including data entry, invoicing, petty cash, and journals
  • Prepare monthly Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow reports
  • Perform month-end and year-end closing independently
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in QuickBooks

Bank, POS & Reconciliations

  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations
  • Reconcile POS transactions and bank charges/commissions
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in high-transaction environments

VAT & Compliance

  • Prepare and submit UAE VAT returns accurately and on time
  • Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and accounting standards
  • Support auditors and external consultants when required

Multi-Company Accounting

  • Maintain strict separation of accounts between companies
  • Allocate shared expenses (rent, utilities, salaries, marketing, etc.) using clear and auditable methods
  • Handle intercompany entries where applicable

Payroll & Controls

  • Process payroll, overtime, commissions, and deductions
  • Ensure payroll accuracy and proper documentation
  • Maintain clean ledgers with no unexplained balances

Requirements

Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
  • Minimum 5 years accounting experience in the UAE
  • Strong hands-on experience with QuickBooks (mandatory)
  • Experience handling the full accounting cycle independently
  • Experience managing multiple companies or branches
  • Strong knowledge of UAE VAT laws and filing procedures
  • Experience with bank reconciliation and POS reconciliation
  • Valid UAE driving license (mandatory)
  • Strong MS Excel skills
