Our Tier 1 Main Contracting Client has a new requirement for a well experienced Construction Site Timekeeper to join their team in Abu Dhabi to work on high profile new villa, mansion and residential projects. Successful candidates will have a proven background as a Timekeeper with strong knowledge in working on high profile projects in the UAE with preference given to those with prior experience working for recognised Main Contracting Companies

This role is available for immediate joining and is hiring on a temporary to permanent basis as an initial 6 month contract position, outsourced through J10 Consulting, with the option to transfer to staff after 6 months to suit all parties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To manage, monitor, and control manpower attendance across busy construction sites by coordinating with site-based assistant timekeepers, ensuring accuracy in daily attendance, overtime records, and compliance with company policies.
  • Attendance Management: Supervise and coordinate attendance tracking across busy construction sites.
  • Review, verify, and consolidate daily attendance reports submitted by assistant timekeepers at each site.

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantity Surveyor to join our supervision team. The successful candidate must have 10–15 years of Quantity Surveying experience in consultancy firms, with a proven track record in budget control and handling variations. Chartered status is preferred. The role focuses on post-contract Quantity Surveying services, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and effective cost management throughout the project lifecycle.


Responsibilities

  • Carry out post-contract Quantity Surveying works in line with project and contract requirements.
  • Conduct monthly site checks to verify completed works against approved drawings and specifications.
  • Prepare a Monthly Schedule of Works Completed, forming the basis for interim payment certification.
  • Review and evaluate contractors’ claims for time extensions and prepare contract variation orders.
  • Assess and recommend contractors’ interim and final payments based on actual work progress.
  • Maintain accurate records of materials delivered to site, collating all delivery invoices.
  • Monitor and keep records of plant, manpower, and resources deployed at site.

Job Description:

The role reports to the Chief Engineer and the Head of Engineering and is responsible for the system verification and validation of a large security system during and after its deployment. This also includes the acceptance process with the customer. The role is based in Riyadh, but frequent travel to locations in Saudi Arabia is required. Occasional international travel is also expected.

Person Specifications:

The successful candidate shall hold the following required qualifications and should be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:

  • Bachelor s or Master degree in Electrical Engineering / Information Technology or related field
  • 10+ years of Experience in the Verification and Validation (V&V) of systems and familiar, with the applicable INCOSE and international system engineering standards, or holding a ISTQB Certification
